I’ve been looking around for projects that make use of the many old CD’s I’ve collected over the years from computer mags.
It’s interesting what you can find using Google, some of the ideas are a bit ‘off the wall’ like a disco glitter ball for instance, but the best I’ve found is to make a simple clock.

Now it’s up to you just how you want it to look, but in it’s simplest form, all you need is a CD (obviously) and a clock movement.

To jazz it up a bit use acrylic paint, or stick on a photo as the clock face. I’ve just ordered the clock movements from the internet and look forward to making a few christmas presents with my new born sons picture on them.
